She has worked as a naturalist, as a rites of passage guide, as a facilitator of progressive rural community development projects in South Africa, and as a psychotherapist in psychiatric hospital, clinic, and private practice settings.
Michelle serves as Adjunct Faculty in the M.A. Counseling Program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She teaches Child Psychotherapy, Clinical Practice, and Human Growth and Development. Currently, she has a private practice, is a school counselor, and serves as a parent educator for a child development center.
Paul teaches courses and conducts research and is active in multiple professional associations. He chairs the Public Policy Committee of the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA), Division 27 of the American Psychological Association.
